National T.V. Journalist Kelly Wright To Lend His Voice To Actively Caring For People

The National Center for Prevention of Community Violence is pleased to announce that National T.V. Journalist Kelly Wright has agreed to serve as a Spokesman and Ambassador for the “Actively Caring for People” Movement.

The Actively Caring for People Movement serves as a process for communities to improve civility while building positive interpersonal relations.

The process creator Dr. E. Scott Geller, distinguished professor at Virginia Tech is recognized as one of America's leading behavioral scientist.

In accepting his role Kelly Wright stated:

In a world shattered by war, crime, poverty, a pandemic, and divisions over race and politics, it is imperative that we embrace the discipline of “Actively Caring For People.” I believe it is a
“good samaritan” approach to help us embrace each other in love to build a global beloved community.
— Kelly Wright

NCPCV Executive Director Bobby Kipper Stated:

With the surge of incivility and violent crime in America, we need a community process that will embrace and promote acts of kindness. Actively Caring is not a program, it’s a behavioral modification process based on science.

NCPCV will engage schools to improve school climate and law enforcement agencies to improve and sustain community policing.
