The Wristband

August 19th, 2010

Do you know what to do with your green wristband?

If you have a green wristband, you have been empowered to recognize someone for actively caring. Wear the band as a reminder until you see an act of kindness. Once you see an act, take the wristband off of your wrist and thank them for “actively caring.” Tell them to “pay it forward” and pass the band on to the person they effect with their own act of kindness.

Share your wristband story with us.

We want to hear your story of how you actively cared for someone or how he/she cared for you. If you have a green wristband, an act of kindness that came with it, and wristband, please post it by clicking here. Every act of kindness creates a ripple effect. Our hope is to see the ripple effect by tracking each band and the stories that come with it.

Want a wristband to give to some who actively cares?

Stop by The Center for Applied Behavior Systems, 202 Williams Hall, Blacksburg, VA 24061 and we will give you one if you share a past actively caring story on the homepage of the website (by commenting on the first post)!

AC4P epitomizes the phrase “caring for each other one story at a time.”
